Following yesterday's leak, there was no point in holding on to the release of the 5-Series Gran Turismo for the weekend, so BMW went ahead and released all it has on its newest model including an animated video that shows off the car in and out. After its world premiere in Frankfurt this September, the 5-Series GT will go on sale in Europe in late October with prices in Germany set at €55,200 (about $76,000 USD) for the 245HP 530d GT, €55,700 (around $76,000) for the 306HP 535i GT and €75,300 (approx $103,700) for the range topping 408HP 550i GT.Just to get a rough idea of BMW's pricing tactics in other markets, in Germany, the 530d, 535i and 550i cost €2,700, €3,200 and €800 less than their respective X6 counterparts.
